Support Every Step of the Way — From Target Setting to SBTi Validation
Science-Based Targets: End-to-End Support
At KERAMIDA, we help companies set and achieve science-based emissions-reduction targets aligned with the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi). We guide organizations through every stage of the SBTi journey — from establishing your emissions inventory baseline to submitting and validating your targets.
Our experts make the process straightforward, collaborative, and credible. While the SBTi Services Team performs the external validation, KERAMIDA provides continuous support to ensure your submission is accurate, compliant, and ready for approval.
We have successfully supported organizations of all sizes — from Fortune 500 companies to mid-size companies — across diverse sectors, including those with FLAG (Forest, Land, and Agriculture) emissions.
Take the Next Step Toward SBTi Validation
With KERAMIDA, you’ll have an experienced partner helping you every step of the way, from your first emissions baseline to successful SBTi validation and long-term progress tracking.
Our SBTi Advisory Process
We provide a structured, end-to-end process that ensures your targets are both achievable and aligned with SBTi standards.
1. Establish Your Baseline
We begin by developing a complete and accurate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions baseline across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, in accordance with the GHG Protocol. This establishes the foundation for understanding your carbon footprint, identifying key emission drivers, and informing reduction opportunities.
2. Align with SBTi Framework
KERAMIDA’s experts help you interpret and apply the latest SBTi standards and criteria, including requirements for near-term, long-term, and Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) targets. We identify which SBTi approaches, such as the Absolute Contraction Approach (ACA) or Sectoral Decarbonization Approach (SDA), best fit your operations and sector context.
3. Reduction Roadmap Development & Stakeholder Engagement
We facilitate a series of collaborative workshops with your key stakeholders to translate data into strategy. Together, we review your emissions profile, identify high-impact reduction opportunities, and align on your organization’s strategic priorities.
Through this process, we assess near-term and long-term target options, evaluate Scope 3 reduction pathways, and design a practical implementation roadmap that fits your business model and sustainability goals.
This roadmap gives your leadership team the insight and confidence to approve and advance SBTi-ready targets backed by real operational feasibility.
4. Achieve SBTi Validation
Once your targets are finalized, KERAMIDA prepares and organizes all required documentation for submission through the SBTi Services Target Submission Platform.
We ensure your materials meet all SBTi criteria, manage the submission process, and provide support during the SBTi review period — responding to feedback, clarifying data, and facilitating a smooth validation process.
5. Implementation & Ongoing Support
After SBTi validation, KERAMIDA continues to support your journey through reduction roadmap implementation planning, progress tracking, and performance reporting.
We help you integrate targets into broader ESG and decarbonization programs, ensure continued alignment with SBTi guidance, and prepare for the five-year resubmission and review cycle required by SBTi to maintain validated status.
