OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) standard requires assembling a team of experts from various fields to gather process information and conduct a hazard analysis for each covered process at a facility. KERAMIDA's team of seasoned industrial hygienists, engineers, and toxicologists collaborates closely with plant personnel to complete both steps of this process, enhancing safety for clients who manage highly hazardous chemicals.
Last month, KERAMIDA partnered with Western Kentucky University (WKU) to host a wetlands field day for NiSource's Natural Resources Permitting team.

Grand Valley Metropolitan Council (GVMC) teamed up with the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and KERAMIDA for the West Michigan Climate Action Forums, which consisted of three separate community engagement sessions spread out across West Michigan. Residents, leaders, and stakeholders came together to shape GVMC’s Preliminary Climate Action Plan. We discussed ideas and strategies to cut down on greenhouse gases in the region that will help to develop a Preliminary Climate Action Plan slated for submission to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 2024. The plan will cover the four-county region of West Michigan, including Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, and Ottawa Counties.
KERAMIDA compiled and shared the input we received from the public engagement sessions with the three advisory committees that are assisting GVMC in creating the West Michigan Climate Action Plan. The valuable input received from all the attendees of the community engagement sessions has helped shape the Preliminary Climate Action Plan. We want to express our gratitude to the US Environmental Protection Agency for their funding and guidance, without which this plan would not have been possible.

Here is what KERAMIDA's EHS and Sustainability professionals have to say about working for Dr. Vicky Keramida.
KERAMIDA is your comprehensive environmental consulting partner for the midstream oil and gas industry. Our dedicated team of qualified biologists, inspectors, and engineers is committed to meeting our clients' needs.
Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) work to not only reduce flooding but to protect and preserve the quality of our downstream aquatic resources. Stormwater BMPs help to reduce stormwater runoff, which decreases sediment and nutrient transport, prevents streambank erosion, and recharges groundwater. As land development increases throughout the U.S. and government regulators continue to tighten standards, effective stormwater management practices are crucial not only for compliance but also for protecting our aquatic resources.
KERAMIDA is a global, multidisciplinary Sustainability and EHS consulting firm grounded in evidence-based research and development.
