Held February 23–25 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, this annual event brings together safety professionals, regulatory leaders, and industry experts focused on advancing workplace health, compliance, and operational risk management.

Dan Engling, MS, CIH, CSP, Senior Vice President, presented Five Case Studies in Combustible Dust Hazards: Potential Traps and Critical Insights, offering practical lessons from real-world Dust Hazard Analyses and discussing NFPA 652 requirements as they stand in 2026. His session highlighted both technical and organizational factors that influence combustible dust risk and compliance outcomes.
Carson Brown, CSP, Vice President, presented two well-attended sessions. In Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Under the Microscope, he examined the most common deficiencies in LOTO programs and provided actionable strategies to strengthen procedures, inspections, and training. In The Safety Dashboard: Using Data to Drive Better Decisions, Carson demonstrated how organizations can transform safety metrics into clear, actionable insights that support proactive decision-making and stronger safety culture.
Jay Beltz, Senior Project Manager, presented Permit-Required Confined Space (PRCS) Entry: Getting Rescue Right When Lives Are on the Line, addressing common rescue planning gaps and helping organizations evaluate whether their confined space programs are truly prepared for real-world emergencies.
