Project Gigaton Reporting for National Seafood Supplier

This confidential Client is an American seafood company with a cutting-edge seafood manufacturing plant. The Client produces frozen seafood products sold in supermarkets under its own and other brands and supplies restaurants ranging from fast food to fine dining, with products sold in all 50 states.
Beginning in 2020, KERAMIDA has supported the Client with its annual Project Gigaton reporting, which is required of all Walmart suppliers. The engagement began with a scoping call to determine applicable data requirements and assess whether either Project Gigaton recognition status, Sparking Change or Giga Guru, was achievable for the initial reporting year.
To support annual reporting, KERAMIDA works with the Client to collect and compile internal data related to product design and packaging emissions, waste management emissions, and other emissions-reduction initiatives implemented during the reporting period. KERAMIDA completes and submits all required surveys and data entries through Walmart’s Project Gigaton platform on the Client’s behalf. In 2025, the Client reported emissions reductions associated with its new reusable smock initiative.
