Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Study For BlackHawk Network Gift Cards
Project Details:
KERAMIDA conducted a comparative Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) study in accordance with ISO 14067:2018 for four gift card products manufactured by Blackhawk Network (BHN).
The study quantified greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the full life cycle of each product, from raw material extraction through end-of-life, expressed in CO₂ equivalents (CO₂e).
Findings enabled BHN to:
Educate business partners and consumers on product impacts
Strengthen companywide GHG inventory calculations
Communicate transparently about emissions across its product portfolio
This PCF study underwent independent critical review to ensure compliance with ISO standards for comparative public disclosure.
