KERAMIDA contracted with Indianapolis Power & Light to perform wastewater certification for the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) for a large coal-fired power plant in Petersburg, Indiana. Inspections were performed by a class D wastewater operator. KERAMIDA first performed an initial site visit to the plant to inspect the wastewater disposal system. KERAMIDA also reviewed related support documents regarding wastewater at the facility.

Following the initial site visit KERAMIDA performed monthly site visits to the plant to observe operations and prepare a Discharge Monitoring Report in compliance with the requirements of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). All reports were submitted to IDEM for review and, if required, revised according to any comments received by IDEM. KERAMIDA works to ensure our clients remain in compliance with any and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
