We plan, manage, and implement core environmental programs based on each facility's unique needs.

Stormwater Compliance

As the designated Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP) for the facilities, KERAMIDA is responsible for drafting, implementing, and maintaining the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) at each location. Our services include:

  • Routine inspections and observations

  • Annual comprehensive facility compliance evaluations

  • Required facility training

  • Sampling support and results interpretation

  • Ad Hoc reporting through SMARTS

  • Annual report preparation

  • Full Industrial General Permit (IGP) compliance assurance, including support for facilities in Level 1 or Level 2 status

Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste Compliance

KERAMIDA also manages Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste compliance programs at these facilities. This includes annual audits of waste and material storage and handling practices to update each facility’s Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) and confirm compliance with requirements for safe storage and handling, employee right-to-know, training, and emergency notifications.

KERAMIDA supports day-to-day program management through:

  • Monthly accumulation area inspections

  • Reviewing and maintaining solid and hazardous waste records

  • Verifying that manifests are properly completed and submitted to DTSC

  • Supporting waste characterization

  • Managing universal waste procedures.

We also manage recurring reporting obligations, including the annual electronic Verification Questionnaire (eVQ), Toxic Release Inventory (TRI/Form R) determinations and reports, and Biennial Reporting, so that all facilities meet their regulatory deadlines consistently.
