GHG Inventory Verification & Assurance for Nordstrom
Project Details:
KERAMIDA provided third-party GHG verification services for Nordstrom, Inc., a leading U.S. fashion retailer operating a network of department stores, Nordstrom Rack locations, and e-commerce platforms.
KERAMIDA was engaged to perform an independent verification of Nordstrom’s Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 GHG emissions in alignment with the GHG Protocol. The verification process included detailed data requests, interviews, and document reviews to evaluate data accuracy and completeness, calculation methodologies, and emission factors used in the company’s GHG inventory.
Throughout the engagement, KERAMIDA collaborated closely with Nordstrom’s GHG inventory representative through regular meetings to ensure transparency of data, timely communication, and the resolution of any identified material issues. Upon completion of the review, KERAMIDA issued a positive, limited assurance opinion confirming the accuracy and completeness of Nordstrom’s reported GHG emissions.
