GHG Inventory Assurance & Verification for Bread Financial

KERAMIDA provided third-party GHG verification services for Bread Financial, a U.S. publicly-traded financial services company that offers personalized payment, lending, and saving solutions.
KERAMIDA was tasked with conducting Bread Financial’s first-ever GHG verification. The scope of work included their Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions in addition to 8 of the 15 Scope 3 categories as defined by the GHG protocol. The GHG verification consisted of a variety of inquiries to determine a sufficient verification and sampling plan, requesting data based on that sampling plan, and reviewing supporting documentation and calculation procedures.
Our team met all strict Client deadlines by maintaining weekly interactions throughout the project. Any material issues were presented to the Client for resolution and were subsequently verified by KERAMIDA. KERAMIDA was able to provide an opinion of positive limited assurance to the Client.
