KERAMIDA Supports Engineers Without Borders

KERAMIDA is a Project Contributor Sponsor for the Engineers Without Borders – Purdue Rwanda Water Project.

KERAMIDA is proud to announce our Project Contributor Sponsorship to the Engineers Without Borders – Purdue University Chapter in support of their Rwanda Water Project.

The project partners with rural communities in Rwanda to design and build water supply systems that improve both water quality and accessibility. To date, these systems have benefited more than 3,000 people through the installation of large storage tanks, chlorinators, gravity-fed pipelines, and community tap stands.

This opportunity was brought to our attention by Rachel Schwab, a KERAMIDA intern and Biological Engineering student at Purdue. Rachel is an active member of the Engineers Without Borders Purdue team working on the Rwanda Project.

Engineers Without Borders Purdue University Chapter is both a student organization and an academic course, empowering students to create global change. Recognized nationally for excellence in improving community health outcomes, the Purdue chapter has 102 students from diverse disciplines, learning technical and professional skills while building lasting partnerships with under-resourced communities.

At KERAMIDA, we believe in supporting initiatives that make a tangible difference in the lives of people globally. The work of Engineers Without Borders is a powerful reminder of the positive change engineers can bring to communities in need.
