5 New Certifications in March

KERAMIDA is proud to congratulate our talented professionals on five new certifications obtained in the last month!

Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP)

  • Fotios Kafantaris, Ph.D. passed the Envision Certification Exam (ENV SP).

  • Danielle Rigalli, P.E. passed the Envision Certification Exam (ENV SP).

The ENV SP Certification is required to certify that public works projects (non-inhabitable structures, such as roads, bridges, airports, etc.) have adhered to the Envision Standards for Sustainability planning, design, construction, and overall performance.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Morgan Newcomb passed the Certified Safety Professional Exam (CSP).

The CSP certification demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of safety practice and the skills required for practical implementation.

GRI Certified Sustainability Professional

Emilee Brown passed the GRI Professional Certification Program Exam.

The GRI Professional Certification Program is a sustainability curriculum that delivers globally applicable professional development on the GRI Standards. Through this program, professionals enhance their knowledge, expertise, and skills on sustainability practices, particularly in implementing the GRI Standards, with the overall aim to improve the quality of sustainability disclosures and reporting.

Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner (QISP)

Claudia Rohrs passed the Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner (QISP) exam.

The California Stormwater Industrial General Permit (IGP) defines a Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP) as: “… required once a Discharger reaches Level 1 status, a QISP is the individual assigned to ensure compliance with this General Permit or to assist New Dischargers with determining coverage eligibility for discharges to an impaired water body. A QISP’s responsibilities include implementing the SWPPP, performing the Annual Comprehensive Facility Compliance Evaluation (Annual Evaluation), assisting in the preparation of Annual Reports, performing ERAs, and training appropriate Pollution Prevention Team members. The individual must take the appropriate State-approved or sponsored training to be qualified.”
