Field Investigations & Basemap Development
KERAMIDA provided comprehensive survey and SUE services for the project, including:
Boundary and right-of-way research
Topographic surveying
Public utility mapping using locating technologies
Preparation of property and easement exhibits for easement acquisition
Pre-construction stakeout services
Field investigations identified existing underground and surface utilities to support SUE efforts and reduce design and construction risk. Control was established, and our team compiled all survey and utility data into a CAD-based, design-ready basemap integrating planimetric features, mapped utilities, property boundaries, rights-of-way, and proposed easements. The basemap was used directly by the Client's engineering team as the foundation for design development.
Easement Support & Pre-Construction
Property and easement exhibits derived from the basemap were used to support property negotiations and the purchase of permanent and temporary easements. During pre-construction, KERAMIDA performed stakeouts to identify proposed alignments and easement limits, supporting constructability reviews and field coordination.
