Overview:

Since 2017, KERAMIDA has provided Vectren, an electricity generation and distribution utility with customers in Indiana and Ohio, with strategic sustainability reporting assistance.

Project Details:

The Sustainability services KERAMIDA has provided include:

• KERAMIDA trained Vectren’s staff on SASB, CDP and GRI Reporting standards.

• KERAMIDA made recommendations for improving score of CDP disclosures, and evaluated what resources are needed for Vectren to complete CDP questionnaire(s) annually going forward, assuming 2018 Energy Utilities Sector-Specific Questions and the Water Disclosure will be required in future years.

• In preparation for Vectren’s 2017 GRI Report, KERAMIDA reviewed:

  • Vectren’s 2017 CDP Climate Change disclosure, 2016 Sustainability Report, 2017 10-K, and 2017 Peer Company disclosures.

• KERAMIDA then assisted Vectren by completing a gap analysis to identify what content Vectren already had and where it was located; and, to identify what content was needed to complete the 2017 Sustainability report.

• In 2018, KERAMIDA assisted Vectren with the compilation and copywriting of their 2017 Sustainability report.

• In early 2019, Vectren merged with CenterPoint Energy; hence, KERAMIDA’s task was to transition Vectren’s 2017 GRI G4 Report (published in 2018) to a concise GRI Standards-based report/GRI Content Index (published in 2019, and located here: http://investors.centerpointenergy.com/static-files/b273a41d-4823-4ea3-8788-a9c6baa73416)
