On-site Energy Audits of Municipal Buildings for City of Evansville, IN
Project Details:
KERAMIDA conducted a round of week-long energy audits for the City of Evansville, Indiana. The on-site audits were conducted at 12 City buildings with the intention of identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption, improve operational efficiency, and lower utility costs across municipal buildings and infrastructure.
The audits evaluated high-energy-consuming equipment, such as HVAC systems, water heaters, plug loads, and renewable energy generation, in addition to lower-hanging fruit, including lighting systems, insulation, and windows. The findings were used to empower the City of Evansville to implement practical, phased improvements that reduce operational costs while demonstrating leadership in sustainable municipal operations.
