Project Details:

KERAMIDA completed a four year contract with this automotive supplier to conduct groundwater monitoring at seven locations across the country. At each facility, KERAMIDA’s professionals used low flow well pumping techniques to collect samples from groundwater monitoring wells which included upper surficial, lower surficial and bedrock monitoring wells depending on the facility.

Various pump types were utilized depending on the specific site including bladder, double valve, electric submersible, and peristaltic pumps. Samples were commonly tested for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), RCRA metals (specifically Chromium and Nickel), and Hexavalent Chromium. Hexavalent Chromium samples have a 24-hour hold time, which required logistical commitment and technical excellence in providing collected samples to the laboratory in a timely fashion. All collection techniques and analyses were completed in accordance with federal and state requirements depending on site location, and detailed client-specific collection procedures.

KERAMIDA’s far-reaching knowledge and experience allow us to tackle large-scale national jobs in all facets of the environmental field. We help our clients ensure that their industrial operations do not harm the natural environment or human health.
