ASHRAE Level 2 Energy Audits of Municipal Facilities in Bloomfield Township, MI
Project Details:
KERAMIDA partnered with Bloomfield Township, Michigan, to conduct portfolio-wide energy audits of Township facilities, including administrative buildings, fire stations, community spaces, and support structures. The project involved performing ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits to evaluate building systems, analyze utility consumption, and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Through detailed site assessments, utility data analysis, and engineering evaluation, our team developed a prioritized set of energy conservation measures (ECMs), ranging from no-cost and low-cost operational improvements to capital upgrades such as HVAC system enhancements and building envelope improvements. Each recommendation included estimated energy savings, implementation costs, and financial metrics to support informed decision-making.
In addition to building-level recommendations, the project established a portfolio-wide energy baseline and identified available incentives and grant funding while laying the groundwork for future energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
The final deliverables gave Bloomfield Township a clear, actionable roadmap to reduce energy consumption, lower operating costs, and plan long-term capital improvements.
