/During the month of February 2018, KERAMIDA had the opportunity to perform a large radiation and noise measurement project for one of the largest midstream oil and gas companies in North America. The industrial hygiene testing was conducted at 40 facilities, encompassing nearly all of the client's Northeast region. KERAMIDA's James Brown performed 95% of this work and the task was finished inside of two weeks - when the client was anticipating a duration of at least three weeks.

The devastating impacts of Hurricanes Maria and Irma have wreaked havoc on Puerto Rico's communities, businesses, infrastructure, real estate and power grid. KERAMIDA's Land Division Vice President, Steve Cobb and Project Coordinator, John Young visited Puerto Rico to assess damage to several Simon Mall properties in and around San Juan. KERAMIDA is working with Simon to get common areas in the mall open as quickly as possible as there are currently limited retail spaces open for residents to get food and clothing.

It is our pleasure to announce that KERAMIDA will grant a 3 week paid Maternity and Paternity leave for the birth or adoption of a child. The 3 week leave can be taken in any increments and at any intervals within the first year since the birth/adoption event. The availability of short-term disability for mothers will remain the same for time past the 3 week paid leave. This policy is retroactive to all employees who became parents since January 1, 2017.

This past November, Dr. Vicky Keramida was instrumental in helping the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University to develop the Senior Design Course for the Spring 2016 Semester. The outcome of the course was a Conceptual Design for Tippecanoe Sanitary Landfill (TSL) Superfund Site's Reuse, a Superfund site that KERAMIDA has managed since the 1990's. This course was the first time a multifaceted Superfund Reuse Planning Study was the subject of a University Senior Design Course.
