KERAMIDA is proud to be sponsoring and presenting this conference with the Indiana Chamber.

Participant Reviews:

Great job, keep up the good work. You guys are wonderful, great experience.
It was refreshing to hear Kathy Moore, Jaime Saylor and a few others speak realistically about the challenges working with IDEM (not dishing them, but more accurately portraying some of the difficulties that exist.)
It’s kept at a basic level so I can have newer environmental Teammates attend.
This was a well-run conference with very good content from industry experts.
Very good selection of subject-matter experts. Covered a broad range of relevant topics.
I found this very beneficial. I really appreciated that someone researched what permits the attendees have in advance in order to know their students.

This two-day seminar will cover four main topics: emission estimation, permitting, regulatory requirements, and compliance demonstration. For each topic, classroom instruction will be followed by a working group session where the class will be divided into subgroups to complete a hypothetical foundry air emission problem relating to that topic. Results will be reported to the class.

A&WMA / IndyBar Environmental Law Section: Recent Changes in the U.S. EPA Air Regulatory Policy

AWMA-Indiana.jpg

At the federal level, the current administration has brought many changes to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), including changes in air regulatory policy. Some of these changes are significant, and both state agencies and the regulated community are busy figuring out whether the changes impact them, how so and how best to implement them.

If you have found yourself scratching your head about whether a recent EPA policy memo might apply to your company or its air permit, or how to even figure that out, the Indiana Chapter Air & Waste Management Association panel discussion might be a good place to start!

Panelists will discuss various recent EPA memoranda and what they mean for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) and the regulated community. With speakers from IDEM, Eli Lilly, KERAMIDA and Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, the panel will offer insights into how others are applying these changes to their air permits.

  • Panel Discussion: 4-5 PM

  • This program has been approved for 1.0 CLE credit.
