Xuqing Xiong oversees KERAMIDA’s Greenhouse Gas and Sustainability Data Services. Ms. Xiong has played a pivotal role in developing the firm’s capabilities in GHG accounting and laying the foundation for its current GHG Accounting and Assurance Services. She has directed or supported an extensive portfolio of projects involving corporate- and facility-level GHG inventories for global clients across a wide range of business sectors. Ms. Xiong has guided a wide range of GHG Verification and Assurance projects across various assurance protocols.
Ms. Xiong was the first Assurance provider to be certified by GSCC, the Global Steel Climate Council, and helped Steel Dynamics achieve its first GSCC Green Steel certification globally. She holds numerous GHG Verification and Assurance credentials and certifications, including the California ARB GHG Lead Verifier and the Oregon DEQ Lead GHG Verifier. She was the lead programmer in the development of KERAMIDA’s CarbonCalc™ — a GHG Emissions and Reductions Calculator that automates the calculation of a company’s Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions inventory and inputs that data into a GHG reduction model. Her technical background gives her an unparalleled advantage in understanding and verifying GHG sources and data. Her deep expertise spans the full spectrum of sustainability and climate services, with a particular focus on GHG accounting methodologies, emissions reduction modeling, Life Cycle Assessment of GHG emissions, Data Analytics, and environmental risk assessment. Ms. Xiong holds an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Purdue University and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Zhejiang Gongshang University. She is a registered Professional Engineer.
