Mr. Jaros has extensive environmental consulting and community development leadership experience. He is a trusted consultant, technical expert, community builder, and a strategic team leader.

Mr. Jaros’ professional expertise covers a wide variety of projects ranging from due diligence to regional contamination. He is skilled at negotiating complex matters such as bringing cohesive involvement from several PRPs on multiple sites with co-mingled contaminant plumes of chlorinated solvents, hazardous materials and petroleum hydrocarbon impacts. His extensive experience includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II Site Investigations, soil and groundwater remediation design/implementation, vapor intrusion assessments, brownfield redevelopment for public and private entities and wellfield protection consulting. His environmental regulatory compliance expertise includes Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans, and Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal, remediation and site closure. Mr. Jaros has lead and managed total project contracts in excess of $27,000,000.

As a valued consultant with local officials, state and federal regulators and within the environmental industry, Mr. Jaros participated in the development of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management’s (IDEM’s) Remediation Closure Guide (RCG). He is extremely knowledgeable regarding the applications of appropriate risk-based cleanup actions, and sought by property owners for environmental solutions related to site management and  closure. His expertise also covers Clean Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation Liability Act (CERCLA), and Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) issues. In addition, Mr. Jaros has served as an expert witness providing litigation support in matters concerning environmental issues, and reviewer of other consultant’s work for the insurance industry, legal counsel and municipalities.

Mr. Jaros has been the consultant for 6 municipalities on various land development risk and cleanup evaluations, wellfield protection assessments, and groundwater protection reviews. He served as one of the technically qualified persons (TQP) for wellfield protection areas on behalf of the City of Indianapolis. He  participates in community forums for the purpose of explaining environmental risks. Mr. Jaros utilizes the Six Sigma principles to improve efficiencies, clarify processes, guide careers and increase client satisfaction.

Mr. Jaros has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana.
