Southeast Neighborhood Development (SEND) & Southeast Community Services (SECS) Awarded Grant
The Southeast Neighborhood Development CDC and Southeast Community Services were awarded a $300,000 Environmental Workforce and Brownfield Training Grant. The grant period is for two years and will start as soon as the cooperative agreement is signed. Both SEND and SECS are committed to revitalizing the southeast side of Indianapolis and enhancing the quality of life for a diverse spectrum of residents. The grant will help train residents for careers in environmental remediation and will support the revitalization of many brownfield sites. The grant application was written by KERAMIDA Inc.
