MSD Was Awarded $1,279,354 for the Beekman Early Success Project -
KERAMIDA Inc. is pleased to announce that MSD (Metropolitan Sewer District of Cincinnati) was awarded a grant for $1,279,354 for the Beekman Early Success Project. KERAMIDA performed extensive Phase I and Phase II Assessments for this property, as well as a Remediation applicability evaluation and design, all under Ohio's VAP requirements. KERAMIDA also prepared the winning Grant Application.
The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) administers a Clean Ohio Fund for Brownfield Revitalization, which MSD applied for to implement a sustainable infrastructure installation called the Beekman Early Success Project. This project will turn a former fire station and city storage area for equipment into a public amenity featuring a walking trail, a meadow with native vegetation, and rain gardens.
