In June 2004, KERAMIDA acquired the Environmental Engineering & Consulting division of Heritage Environmental Services, LLC. The sale strengthened the core capabilities of both companies by allowing Heritage to offer KERAMIDA's expertise to customers in need of environmental engineering and health and safety services.

Heritage Environmental Services is the largest privately held environmental solutions company in North America, focusing on waste management, and employing more than 900 professionals. The company owns and operates a network of permitted and environmentally secure waste management facilities nationwide.

Heritage Environmental Services is a business unit of the Indianapolis-based Heritage Group. The group controls a portfolio of diverse industrial businesses.

Allegiant Global Services

KERAMIDA has partnered with Allegiant Global to provide Sustainability services to Allegiant's industrial customers, internationally. Allegiant is a global industrial in-plant services provider focusing on waste management under zero waste disposal principles. Allegiant has already succeeded in achieving zero waste disposal status at a major automotive manufacturing facility.

The Sustainability services offered include energy management, carbon footprint determination for facilities, and product life-cycle sustainability assessment. KERAMIDA and Allegiant have engaged in a series of Sustainability training courses for Allegiant and KERAMIDA clients.

The Greenways Foundation

KERAMIDA is a partner of The Greenways Foundation, whose mission is to help create linear parks across the length and breadth of Indiana. They and we are dedicated to helping Hoosier communities reap the economic, health, and recreation benefits of greenways and blueways.

The Greenways Foundation is a charitable trust working to promote the growth, enhancement and use of Indiana greenways. The trust was formed in 1991 with a vision of an interconnected network of trails serving Central Indiana.
